| Certification for Hair Extensions |
It is very important that a stylist is properly certified to apply hair extensions. Stylists should go through a formal hands-on training certification course to learn how to apply hair extensions, prepare a customer’s hare, the dos and donts of installation and hair care, etc. Applying hair extensions is a very specialized technique and so it is critical that a stylist is certified and that a customer only goes to a certified hair extensionist. BRIJON offers world class hair extension training that includes understanding the hair, tools, accessories, assessing the customer, preparing and diagramming the customer’s head, hands on training, care and maintenance, communication with the customer, marketing to customers, etc. To see more details on BRIJON’s training courses, please go to Hair Extension Training. |
| Clip Hair |
This is hair that has tracks sewn at the top and clips (above) are sewn onto the wefts. These are for customers that like to put on and take off hair extensions quickly and easily. Typically, customers will remove the hair when they shower or going to bed. These are usually sold in different clip on sets whereby there are various size clip on sets (2 clips, 3 clips, 4 clips). As noted above, many customers will purchase wefts and sew the clips onto the hair itself to use as clip on hair. This hair may also be referred to by a number of names including instant hair extensions, clip human hair extensions, human hair pieces, clip extensions, clip hair extentions, clip on hair, clip human hair, clip on extensions, clip on hair pieces or clip hair pieces. |
| Clips (for clip-ons) |
Clips can be attached (sewn) to the wefts and then attached to the customer’s hair (clips are snapped closed). This is typically used for customers that want to quickly and easily put on and take off their hair extensions on a regular basis. BRIJON offers three different sizes of clips (2.3 cm, 3.2 cm, 3.6 cm) and four different colors (black, brown, beige and blonde). |
| Cold Fusion |
This fusion technique does not use heat, but rather electromagnetic energy to melt the keratin. Cold Fusion irons are often referred to as Ultrasonic Irons and are becoming more and more popular because they do not require time to heat up, are effective in melting the keratin, and for many stylists and customers, they prefer to install extensions without heat. |
| Color Ring |
A Color Ring (aka, Color Wheel, Color Chart) is an accessory that is purchased by salons to showcase all of their colors that they can offer to customers. BRIJON’s Color Ring includes more than 40 colors that can be used by customers to match to their own hair or to provide the perfect highlights or lowlights. The colors include BRIJON’s standard colors, various combination colors and numerous fantasy colors (also known as fancy colors, party colors or funky colors).
