BRIJON's EX Remy Pro
hair extensions are uniquely created from 100% virgin Remy hair from India. Because the extensions are made from 100% human hair, special care should be taken to ensure their longevity. Please follow the recommended Care & Maintenance Guidelines below.
WASHING & DRYING
- For keratin-bonded extensions, do not
shampoo hair for at least 48 hours after your extensions have been applied.
- Before washing, gently brush out all tangles starting at the ends.
- Use BRIJÓN's EX Shampoo and EX
Conditioner products when washing your hair extensions. Do not use products with alcohol, sulphur or heavy detergents.
- When washing, protect keratin bonds by tilting your head back and cleanse from the top of the head downward. Avoid facing your head downward.
- When drying, gently remove any tangles.
- Blow
dry hair using low to medium heat, avoiding close and prolonged contact with keratin bonds. For permed hair, do not blow dry heavily in order to maintain wave pattern.
- If towel drying, gently press or pat hair. Do not use fast or pulling movements.
SLEEPING
- Do not sleep with wet hair.
- Before sleeping, braid, wrap or ponytail hair to prevent
tangling. Use a BRIJÓN
Satin Pillowcase to allow your hair to move freely while sleeping.
BRUSHING & STYLING
- Use EX Reconstructor before combing to improve styling and manageability.
- For keratin-bonded extensions, gently separate strands using your fingers before brushing.
- Gently brush hair in small sections starting at the ends. Do not use hard brush strokes. Use BRIJÓN's wide-tooth comb or brushes designed for hair extensions.
- Style your extensions as desired. Use BRIJÓN's Styler to safely straighten and curl.
- Wait until five washes to straighten BRIJÓN permed hair extensions (
Jackson Wave,
Deep Wave and
Body Wave).
SWIMMING & EXERCISE
- Before swimming, gently brush out all tangles and apply a small amount of EX Conditioner.
- Wash and condition with BRIJÓN-recommended products immediately after swimming and exercise.
GENERAL
- Return to your BRIJÓN-accredited stylist after two weeks for a follow-up appointment. We recommend regular follow-ups with your stylist as your hair grows out.
- You or your stylist can color your hair, although we do not recommend it for lighter-colored extensions.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
- When removing hair extensions, we recommend going to a Brijon-certified or other accredited salon.
